My name is Josie Thompson and in this brief video I have chosen to be brave. I have chosen to embrace courage and defy the stigma and taboos of society regarding mental illness. I have chosen to share with the world my journey for joy as I fight for my life every.single.day. This is my story of finding light in darkness and joy in sorrow. It all started with one girl who couldn't get out of bed. Yet that one crazy girl had even crazier faith and discovered that SHE DID NOT HAVE TO BE HEALED TO HELP. There began her journey for JOY and her resolve TO BE THE GIRL WHO BRINGS LIGHT TO OTHERS THROUGH HER DARKNESS. The 444 Project and its message of JOY has since taken flight across the world. Now three years later and just three days before we take 30 volunteers to leave for our humanitarian project in The Philippines, we are thrilled to officially announce that The 444 Project is now a recognized NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION!!!!
